Mission Statement: The mission of IEEE WIE is to inspire, engage, encourage, and empower IEEE women worldwide.
Goals / Focus
The mission of the IEEE Canadian Atlantic Section WIE affinity group is TBD based on feedback of its members. Generally, IEEE WIE International promotes the entry, visibility, advancement and retention of women in the profession and the local chapter will not stray far from this focus.

The affinity group was formed in April 2009.
