The IEEE Power Engineering / Industrial Applications Society are please to invite you to a Plantwide EtherNet/IP Design and Security Seminar being presented by Rockwell Automation and Graybar Harris & Roome, Tuesday August 28, 2012. The seminar is a one-day event designed to bring the IT Network Engineer and Control System Engineer together to learn from Rockwell Automation Networking Specialists about the benefits of EtherNet/IP networks on the plant floor, connecting manufacturing to the business enterprise. The seminar will cover the fundamentals of EtherNet/IP as well as more advanced topics including: Resiliency, Physical Layer, Security, Remote Access, Convergence and Virtualization.

Jason Dely of Rockwell automation will be giving the security presentation in the afternoon. Jason is a critical control system Infrastructure Security Consultant with extensive proven experience and success in engineering and supporting critical control system initiatives and solutions. Includes planning, engineering, designing and implementation of a verity of security and infrastructure projects for Industrial Control Systems, Industrial Automation applications and Critical Infrastructure Protection projects. Standards and compliance experience includes ISA SP-99, NERC CIP, various IEEE and ISO, CPwE and their interactions with Information and Data Management/Security requirements.

The morning sessions will include:
